Construction Updates

Construction Update – Week of July 17, 2017

  • Yale Place (College Avenue to Harding Avenue)
    • Construction activities continue with various lane restrictions and continued no parking adjacent to the work zones.
      • Street paving between College Avenue and Lokeli Court will begin mid-week and will require intermittent lane closures with signed detours
      • Waterline installation on-going between Phay and Harding avenues
      • Expect to see additional truck traffic, flaggers, and slower than normal traffic.
      • Short term detours for cross streets on Yale Place
      • Through traffic should use 9th or 15th streets
  • 1st Street/Mariposa Road (New York Avenue to Wild Rose Drive/Ptarmigan Trail)
    • Utility identification will be starting, look for equipment and flaggers in the area
  • 10th Street (Royal Gorge Boulevard to Main Street)
  • Whipple Avenue (5th Street to 10th Street)
    • Construction will start late summer/early fall 2017
  • Fairview Avenue (5th Street to 10th Street)
    • Construction will start late summer/early fall 2017
  • Washington Street (5th Street to 9th Street)
    • Construction will start summer 2017
  • South Street (Field Avenue)
    • Construction will begin mid-summer 2017
  • 16th Street (Franklin Avenue to Main Street)
    • Utility identification will be starting, look for equipment and flaggers in the area
  • Greenwood Avenue (15th Street to 16th Street)
    • Construction will begin fall 2017
  • East Main Street (Rainbow Drive to Berry Parkway)
  • Orchard Avenue (Main Street to Royal Gorge Boulevard)
    • Construction will start mid-summer 2017
  • Steinmeier Avenue (Main Street)
    • Construction will start in September 2017
